wet granulator adopts a horizontal cylindrical structure with reasonable structure. Inflatable sealed drive shaft, which can be switched to water during cleaning. The high-efficiency wet granulating machine mixes the powder material and the binder in a cylindrical or conical container. The bottom mixing paddle is used to fully mix the wet soft material, and then the side-mounted high-speed pulverizing paddle is used to cut uniform wet particles. When working, several formulas are added to the working container at one time, and the binder is injected after mixing, or a formula is mixed with the binder into the working container at one time. After mixing by the paddle to make a soft material, it is cut. The reamer grinds the soft material into granules. In the wet granulator, the reciprocating knife is driven by a two-speed motor. Therefore, by controlling the solubility of the adhesive, the revolving knife speed, and the crushing time, granules of different sizes can be obtained to ensure the production of drugs between batches. The quality of particle size distribution, density, fluidity and other aspects reaches a high level of repeatability and automatic production according to the same procedure to ensure the granulation quality of the product.
1. Cutting speed of wet granulator
The role of high-shear wet granulator cutting knives is not very clear. According to the properties of most mixtures, it is found that it can neither promote the growth of the agglomerates, increase the compactness of the agglomerates, nor break the particles. Increasing the size of the pelletizer can reduce the frequency of interactions between the pellets and the cutter. In this case, it is a good idea to fix the linear speed of the cutter during the enlargement process, because the particles are similarly impacted. However, if other variables in the enlargement process cause particles to increase, increasing the cutter speed can reduce the particle size.
2.Granulation time of wet granulator
It is difficult to know the effect of granulation time on the properties of granules through different granulators. The mechanical distribution of liquid binders in large granulation pots requires more time, however this is largely related to prescription and process parameters. The granulation time can be enlarged using the following formula:
Tx / ty = (Sx / Sy) (Vx / Vy);
Among them: x is the granulation pot before the enlargement, y is the granulation pot after the enlargement, tx, ty are granulation time, Sx, S y are the inner surface area of ??the granulation pot, and Vx, Vy are the granulation pot volume.
